<p>The Varese. A double monk strap shoe in olive patina leather — one of the more distinctive colourways in the Bellora Italia range, built on the double-buckle silhouette that has become the house's signature statement shoe.</p><p>The upper is hand-burnished using a graduated patina technique: darker tones are worked into the toe and heel while the mid-panel is left lighter, so the leather reads with genuine depth rather than a single flat colour — no two pairs finish identically. Two adjustable buckle straps run diagonally across the vamp, giving a more considered, formal presence than a plain lace-up while still allowing an easy, slip-on fit once adjusted. A cap toe and Goodyear-welted leather sole complete the construction, allowing for resoling over the shoe's lifetime.</p><p>Olive patina sits at the more adventurous end of formalwear colour — expect it to draw attention against navy or grey tailoring, and to pair particularly well with brown leather accessories. Buckles are solid brass with an antique finish that will darken further with wear.</p>
